Mad Dogs and Englishman go out in the midday sun _ so sang Noel Coward about the great game of cricket, which has been played around the world since the 1880s. This amazing collection of rare photos shows the games in all its glory throughout many eras.
Including more than 150 rare photos of all the greats such as W.G. Grace, Warwick Armstrong, Don Bradman, Dennis Compton, Richie Bernaud, just to name a few, Mad Dogs and Englishmen offers the reader the chance to get a front seat view of the fashions, playing fields and trends of international cricket throughout the ages.
Filled with bizarre and unusual images of everything cricket related, from scoreboards to spectators and special moments, each image is accompanied by pithy captions and essential trivia, making this is the ideal gift book for the cricket fan, or those who want to take a step back in time to revisit nostalgic memories.
